Channeling the seventies

Some of the greatest fashion influences started in the 70s. As a little girl growing up it's where my fashion love affair started, and I've been head over heels ever since. The YSL fall 2010 RTW collection brought down some of the strongest seventies-influenced silhouettes that I've seen in a long time. Seriously, what girl wouldn't want to be caught dead in high-wasted flared trousers, bodysuits,and the modern day cape.

Saturday seemed like the first day of winter here in Dallas and I couldn't be more excited. I finally got a chance to showoff my new mink/leather jacket that I got a few weeks ago from the salvation army. It has some minor flaws that need to get fixed but I couldn't resist not posting it. I paired the jacket with my favorite J-Brand 'love story' bell-bottoms and an ivory lace top that I scored at a thrift shop. My platform shoes are Marni and the bag is MCM.
