Yesterday we celebrated our dear friend Roy's 26 birthday at the newly opened Beauty Bar. Everyone came out to celebrate and give a toast to the birthday boy. It's always good to be around such great company and its even better to be around the fashionable ones!
Beauty Bar is known as an infamous hipster hangout, which boast of great music and "cool" people. They have chains all over like New York, Chicago, LA and Austin. Its my favorite place to listen to music when Im in Austin for SXSW. The interior, which is modeled after a 70's beauty shop, have walls splattered with glitter and hair dryers as the sitting area.
Its kinda crazy when we all get together...We literally danced all night and probably made out like fools :)
I wore a vintage lambs wool jacket that sorta reminds me of Jackie O. It has bracelet sleeves which is perfect for gloves. The shirt and shorts are thrifted. I layered up my Wolford stockings because it has finally begun to feel like winter in Texas. The chain belt is vintage Chanel and the earrings are costume.
Since it is finally cold enough to wear our furs here in Dallas, Erykah brought out her vintage Chloe fox fur jacket that she scored at some thrift store in Lewisville. The jacket was in PRISTINE condition with the name still engraved. That coat is TO DIE FOR. She wore a vintage paisley embroidered coat dress that she recently got from Ahab Bowen.
